Mayor Reed will leave office this January and the race to replace him is tightly contested, with more than a dozen candidates running in the Tuesday, November 7th election. Because of the tight race, there will likely be a run-off between the top two vote getters on December 5th.
In an effort to provide both the candidates – or mayor-elect – and the industry an opportunity to engage in conversation on pertinent issues, ATPC is leading an effort with FinTech Atlanta to bring the top candidates to the December 1st FinTech Atlanta meeting. Candidates will share remarks and take questions from the audience as part of the agenda. It is critical that the industry build a relationship with the incoming mayor to continue the city’s support for the Transaction Alley ecosystem that is so vital to the nation, and the world.
