The second annual P20 Conference was held in Atlanta on October 10, 2018. The conference took place at the Atlanta Historical Center, while the dinner that evening was at the Atlanta Aquarium. Each year the conference will change locations to fulfill the goal of cooperation between the payments ecosystems in Atlanta and London. Notable speakers for the conference included Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, Kipp Kranbuhl, Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury, Congressman Andy Barr, Michael D’Ambrosio, Deputy Assistant Director, U.S. Secret Service, and Antony Phillipson, Her Majesty’s Consul General in New York and Trade Commissioner for North America. The dinner was highlighted by a fireside chat with former UK Prime Minister David Cameron.
The event discussed numerous crucial topics to the payments industry including, Identity Verification, Cybersecurity, General Data Protection Regulation, Cryptocurrency, and Regulatory Sandboxes.
